This page explains how content on Laptop & Coffee is researched, written, reviewed, and updated. Because this site covers making money online — a topic full of exaggerated claims — we hold ourselves to standards designed to earn and keep your trust.
Who writes the content
All content is written by our two named authors: Manesh Kumar, founder of Laptop & Coffee, who covers affiliate marketing, SEO, AI tools, and online business; and Hari Ram, co-founder of our ecommerce brands, who covers dropshipping business models and freelancing. Every article carries an author byline and bio, and each author writes in the areas they actively work in. We do not publish anonymous content, guest posts, or paid contributor articles.
How articles are researched
- First-hand experience comes first. Wherever possible, articles draw on tools and methods used in our own businesses — two live ecommerce brands, this publication, and affiliate programs we run on both the publisher and advertiser side.
- Verification for everything else. When we cover something we haven’t personally run, we say so, and base the article on official platform documentation, published pricing and payout pages, and verifiable public data — not on other blogs’ claims.
- Earnings figures are sourced. Income numbers are labeled as personal results, cited examples, or public data. We do not invent or extrapolate earnings.
How we use AI
We use AI tools in our research and drafting workflow — the same category of tools we review. Every article is directed, fact-checked, edited, and approved by a human before publishing, and the experiences, tests, and opinions in our content are our own. We do not mass-publish unreviewed AI content.
